Wedding FAQ

The venue fee covers a 9 AM arrival time and a 10 PM completion time followed by a 1 hour clean up time. If you want more than 13 hours of time on the property for the day of the event, then the fee is $750 per hour. We cannot go past the 10 pm completion time, followed by a 1 hour clean up time.

We will evaluate each ceremony and event to do our best and arrange a time frame that works for you.

5 hours - 30 minute ceremony, 1 hour greeting, cocktail & appetizers, 45 minute dinner, 15 minute toasts & first dances, 2 hours dancing & traditional activities (cake cutting, garter toss, bouquet toss, etc), 30 minutes coffee & wind down.

Yes. Music will stop playing at 10 PM.

Yes. All caterers, bartenders, and dessert service providers must be licensed and insured and approved by WHV.

No. We do allow outside licensed and insured bartending services with approval of WHV. WHV does provide bartending service for $500 for under 150 guests. This would include bartenders, glassware, ice, & garnishments.

We require you to purchase 1 case per 40 guests. You may select from our wine list and we offer a tasting for the couple prior to selection.

No outside alcohol is permitted at WHV, unless brought by a licensed and insured bartending service. Signature cocktails and service can be offered by WHV provided that proper licensing and approval is obtained by WHV management. There will be an additional charge if WHV provides a signature cocktail.

You may use your bottle discount if you are the person purchasing all of
the wine.

Yes. An onsite venue manager is available for service. This includes consultation (meetings/email/phone), event and vendor oversight, coordination of rehearsal, set up, clean up, WHV rentals, vendor approval, directed parking and general event management. WHV is not your wedding day coordinator. We are simply here to make sure everything goes according to plan at the venue.

YES! At a minimum, you must have a day of coordinator to ensure that all plans are thought out and executed to the best of our ability. WHV can provide this service for an additional fee.

Yes. This is included with the venue rental. You are given 90 minutes on either a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday based on availability. All scheduling must be handled through the WHV event manager.

This all depends on the event schedule at WHV. Oftentimes it may not be possible. Please discuss this with the event manager.

No. We only allow LED lighted candles, lanterns, or votives.

Shepard hooks and wine barrels may be used. We do not allow any heaters, fire pits, fireworks, seeds, fake flower petals, confetti or any chemicals that can damage the lawns or walkways.

No. WHV is a tobacco free, non-smoking property. We do offer a pre-designated smoking area to be arranged prior. There is absolutely no vaping or marijuana use allowed at any time.

Yes. There are ADA restroom facilities in the chapel and in a building by the lawn area. Also, full restrooms are provided in all of the bridal suites for members of the bridal party. You will also have the use of the luxury restroom trailer that is appointed with heat and air conditioning, running water and flushable toilets. A new handicapped accessible family bathroom is being built by the mini park as well. Anticipated completion is July ‘24.

You will need to place all trash in the provided black trash bags and placed in the designated location. Trash removal is part of your rental cost.

WHV vineyards will provide signage to the event parking for your guests and a parking attendants for the arrival of your guests. There are two designated parking lots for event parking.

No. WHV provides tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. The large white tent with cafe lighting and the luxury restroom trailer is included.

Yes. Each event is required to carry a special events liability insurance policy. Please see the contract for details.
